LA MESA, CA (December 2, 2019)—A motorcyclist died Saturday night following a 8 Freeway crash near El Cajon Boulevard.
 
News reports failed to mention the details that drove the car accident, which occurred around 11:57 p.m. on the eastbound freeway.
 
Reports did indicate that two riders, described as males, operating separate motorcycles crashed. One of the riders struck the rear of an unknown vehicle.
 
Following the accident, one rider died at the scene while the other sustained major injuries. A yellow tarp was seen covering the deceased victim in the middle of the freeway lanes.
