Motorcycle and Car Collide in Head-On Crash in Kern County

 
KERN COUNTY, CA (July 11, 2019) – Injuries were reported early Tuesday evening in a head-on crash near Lower Richbar Campground and Highway 178.
 
State officials responded to the head-on collision around 7:05 p.m. It is still unclear at this point what drove the crash between the motorcycle and vehicle. However, authorities have confirmed that at least one person suffered injuries.
 
Authorities are currently investigating this incident further and reports will be updated once more information is collected.
 
The surrounding area was closed off for a brief time while crews worked to clear the wreckage. However, the roadway has since reopened.
