Morning Broadside Collision on Highway 99 in Yuba City Turns Deadly

 
YUBA CITY, CA (November 19, 2018) – At least one person was killed following a broadside crash Monday morning in Yuba City, according to the California Highway Patrol.
 
The crash happened around 9:10 a.m. on Highway 99 at Oswald Road. CHP officials said a white pickup truck with a trailer and a compact sedan were involved.
 
Details of how the crash occurred were not immediately available, but both vehicles were recovered blocking the northbound lane of the highway.
 
Tragically, at least one fatality was found as a result of the accident. The identity of the victim was not immediately available pending next of kin notification.
