TRACY, CA (September 5, 2019) – A woman was killed in a car accident Thursday morning on a rural road in Tracy, according to the San Joaquin County Sheriff’s Office.
 
The crash happened around 10:18 a.m. on Grant Line Road near Berry Avenue, just off 205 Freeway.
 
Deputies arrived and located a female occupant with fatal injuries. A black pickup was also found in the crash site.
 
A coroner pronounced the woman dead at the scene. They will release the victim’s identity once family members are properly notified.
 
Details are sparse on what exactly transpired. The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
