1 Pedestrian Killed in Collision on R Street in Fresno

 
FRESNO, CA (March 25, 2020) – Early Wednesday morning, an unidentified victim was fatally struck in a pedestrian accident on Tulare Street.
 
The incident occurred before 7:00 a.m., on March 11. Dispatchers arrived on Tulare and R Street shortly after receiving multiple 911 calls.
 
An unidentified vehicle struck a pedestrian on the roadway. However, the events leading up are currently unclear.
 
Fresno police reported that the involved driver of the vehicle remained at the scene and has been cooperating with the investigation.
 
Moreover, police officers shut down the surrounding area until 9:00 a.m., for investigation. In addition, the incident led to traffic delays on Highway 41. However, the roadway has since reopened.
 
Meanwhile, an active investigation remains ongoing to determine further details.
