FAIRFIELD, CA (April 25, 2024) – Wednesday morning, a tragic pedestrian crash on 2100 Cadenasso Drive killed one person.

Reports said that the incident happened at around 5:15 a.m. at the 2100 block of Cadenasso Drive.

According to the Fairfield Police Department, a semi-truck that was getting ready to leave a parking lot struck a female pedestrian. Then, the driver of the semi remained at the scene and called 911.

Responding paramedics pronounced the woman, dead at the scene.

At this time, the events leading to the crash remained unclear. When additional information becomes available, the public will be notified.

Due to limited information, the Fairfield Police Department continued to investigate the crash.
