Passenger Injured in Pursuit Crash near Gateway International Bridge [Brownsville, TX]

Brownsville, TX (May 4, 2024) – A female passenger sustained injuries following a pursuit crash near Gateway International Bridge Friday.

Border Patrol officers initiated a pursuit involving a 2018 Volkswagen occupied by a male driver and a female passenger.

The vehicle crashed into a gray Frontier occupied by a male driver, rear-ended another vehicle, and then crashed into a parked car. 

Responding medics transported the female in the Volkswagen to an area hospital with unknown injuries.

The authorities later arrested one person in connection to this crash.
