Santos Sontay-Hernandez Arrested in Othello Hit-and-Run Collision
Othello, WA (December 13, 2022) On Saturday, 53-year-old Stanislav Semenyuk of Kennewick sustained injuries after a hit-and-run accident on State Route 17.
Washington State Troopers arrested 21-year-old Santos Sontay-Hernandez after leaving the scene of the 2-vehicle crash on SR 17.
Reports say that a southbound sedan crossed the centerline and struck a vehicle driven by Semenyuk.
Officials say that the collision injured Semenyuk. Paramedics transported Stanislav Semenyuk to Othello Community Hospital.
Meanwhile, officials say that Santos Sontay-Hernandez did not suffer injuries. Instead, Sontay-Hernandez fled the scene.
Authorities apprehended Sontay-Hernandez a little bit later.
