David Stubbers Arrested in Fatal DUI Crash in Rohnert Park

Rohnert Park, CA (October 16, 2021) On Friday, a 23-year-old Santa Rosa man dies, while officers arrested 26-year-old David Stubbers from San Diego in a DUI crash on U.S. Highway 101.

The California Highway Patrol (CHP) says the crash happened at about 4:45 a.m. on southbound Highway 101 near Golf Course Drive.

Moreover, reports say Stubbers northbound in a Ford Edge in the wrong lane.

Consequently, Stubbers’ vehicle collided with a Mazda 3, driven by the Santa Rosa.

Rescuers say that they extricated the Santa Rosa man from the Mazda.

Paramedics took him to Santa Rosa Memorial Hospital, where he gave in to his grave injuries.

Meanwhile, Stubbers was also taken to the hospital for his injuries.

Afterward, he was booked into Sonoma County Jail for possible DUI charges.

The deceased motorist’s name was not revealed at the moment.
