Riley Myers of Rialto Killed in 91 Freeway Motorcycle Collision [Corona, CA]

Corona, CA  (July 19, 2023) – At about 1 a.m. on Tuesday, 26-year-old Riley Myers of Rialto was killed in a  91 Freeway motorcycle collision.

The traffic accident took place on the westbound freeway east of Main Street.

Sgt. Phil Rogers stated that a private vehicle towing in the middle lane of the westbound side of the freeway when it suddenly went dead in the water, as a result, the vehicle came to a stop.

Myers’ motorcycle slammed into the trailer at an unknown speed hurling him onto the freeway.

Sadly, Myers died at the accident scene.

Moreover, two people were in the vehicle towing the trailer, luckily, neither required medical attention.

The investigation will determine why the deceased did not see the trailer in time to stop or swerve.
