1 Person Hospitalized After Crash on Fairway Drive in Eureka

Eureka, CA (September 6, 2024) – Police are investigating the unusual traffic collision on Fairway Drive.

Reportedly, at approximately 10:15 a.m. this morning, medical personnel responded to an unusual traffic collision near the 4700 block of Fairway Drive in Eureka. 

According to scanner reports, a golf cart had veered into a ditch near Hole 3 at the Eureka Golf Course. 

Initial reports indicated that a man fell out of the cart as it entered the waterway ditch, with the cart landing on him.

First responders arrived on the scene, provided aid, and City Ambulance transported the man to a nearby hospital for treatment of back pain.
