Eugenio Botello Killed in 2-Car Crash in San Saba County
San Saba County, TX (January 29, 2023) On Friday afternoon, 65-year-old Richard Harris of Brownwood and 52-year-old Eugenio Botello of San Saba, died in a 2-vehicle crash on FM 45.
Texas DPS Troopers says that the fatal collision happened at around 4 p.m. on FM 45 in San Saba County.
Authorities say that Botello was on a 2001 Chevrolet pick-up and failed to stay on its lane and collided with a 2018 Dodge Ram towing a cargo trailer.
Officials say that Harris was driving the Dodge, along a 23-year-old passenger in the Dodge who suffered injuries due to the collision.
Meanwhile, officials say that the collision killed both drivers. At the moment, Texas DPS has not provided details on the probable cause of the collision.
Furthermore, troopers are investigating the incident.
