BELL GARDENS, CA (February 14, 2021) – Saturday afternoon, a U.S. postal worker suffered injuries in a hit-and-run crash on Specht Avenue.
 
The hit-and-run incident occurred at about 3:10 p.m. in front of 6547 Specht Avenue, said Bell Gardens police Sgt. Rick McCraner.
 
“Arriving officer discovered a U.S. postal worker lying on the pavement behind his mail truck,” McCraner added. “The postal worker advised a vehicle backed out of a driveway and hit him, pinning him between his mail truck and the suspect vehicle.”
 
According to reports, a vehicle struck the postal worker that had backed out of a driveway in Bell Gardens. Afterward, the driver escaped the crash scene.
 
Moreover, the authorities described the vehicle as a gold Hyundai SUV. Also, the driver was said to be a woman who drove north on Specht Avenue.
 
McCraner added that medical responders transported the victim to a hospital for treatment of pain in his legs.
