GLENDALE, AZ (August 30, 2021) – Sunday afternoon, a pedestrian died in a crash on Agua Fria Freeway near Union Hills Drive.
 
The incident happened at about 7:45 p.m. on southbound Agua Fria Freeway near Union Hills Drive.
 
According to reports, a car struck the pedestrian on the southbound Agua Fria Freeway.
 
As a result, troopers shut down the southbound lanes of 101 at 75th Avenue during the investigation. However, the roads have since reopened.
