Early Morning Pedestrian Crash on Petaluma Hill Road in Santa Rosa Turns Deadly

 
SANTA ROSA, CA (July 23, 2019) – A vehicle struck and killed a pedestrian on Petaluma Hill Road early Tuesday morning in unincorporated Sonoma County.
 
The crash took place at 12:14 a.m. on Petaluma Hill Road, just north of Hopi Trail. CHP officials responded to the site and found the pedestrian lying on the roadway.
 
The victim, who police did not identity, died at the scene. In addition, police stated a coroner arrived to conduct a full report.
 
A blue Subaru Legacy was located on the right shoulder. However, the driver of the car was unharmed in the accident, according to police.
