Pedestrian Killed after Struck by Car at Greenback Lane and Fair Oaks Boulevard [CITRUS HEIGHTS, CA]

Early Morning Pedestrian Crash on Greenback Lane in Citrus Heights Turns Fatal

 
CITRUS HEIGHTS, CA (August 31, 2019) – An unidentified pedestrian died in a crash early Saturday morning in Citrus Heights.
 
The crash happened around 12:44 a.m. near the intersection of Greenback Lane and Fair Oaks Boulevard.
 
According the CHP, the pedestrian was walking eastbound when they were hit by a white Chevrolet Spark. As a result, the pedestrian suffered fatal injuries and died at the scene.
 
Officials requested a coroner’s personnel to pick up the victim’s remains.
 
Due to several factors remained unclear, investigation is still ongoing.
