Pedestrian Hit on Highway 4 in Byron Accident
BYRON, CA (June 17, 2019) – A driver struck and injured a pedestrian on Highway 4 near Bixler Road Saturday night.
Around 9:21 p.m., the East Contra Costa fire department responded to the scene along with California Highway Patrol.
Arriving crews found a man in the road in need of medical attention. After that, paramedics airlifted the victim to San Joaquin General Hospital for treatment.
Reports did not specify the events leading to the crash. In addition, police did not give any details concerning the driver. However, the CHP is investigating this case further.
