Fatal Vehicle and Pedestrian Collision Occurs near Beachmont Street

 
VENTURA, CA (February 9, 2020) – The authorities confirmed that one person was killed in a pedestrian crash on Harbor Boulevard on Sunday night.
 
According to the California Highway Patrol, the incident happened near Beachmont Street at 7:22 PM.
 
Reports from the Ventura Police Department first showed a traffic collision involving a vehicle and pedestrian at the intersection.
 
Officers and Ventura City Fire personnel who arrived on scene said that a male pedestrian was pronounced deceased at the scene. They did not disclose the identity of the individual.
 
The driver of the vehicle remained at the scene and did not sustain any injuries.
