One Killed in Rollover Crash on Highway 49 at Quarry Road [AUBURN, CA]

Fatal Rollover Crash on Highway 49 in Auburn

 
AUBURN, CA (June 3, 2019) – At least one person was killed following a rollover crash Monday morning in Auburn.
 
The crash happened around 10:20 a.m. on Highway 49 in the canyon, about a mile North of Quarry Road.
 
According to an initial report, a tan sedan had overturned on its roof on the right shoulder of the highway. Firefighters arrived on the scene and found at least one fatality as a result of the accident.
 
The name, age and town of residence of the victim were not immediately available pending next of kin notification.
 
Officers advised motorists to expect delays if heading through the area.
