Person Killed, Brian Cetinaperez Arrested in Fatal Vallejo DUI Crash

 
Vallejo, CA (November 2, 2020) – On Saturday, a person died while police arrested 22-year-old Brian Cetinaperez of San Rafael in a DUI crash on Lewis Brown Drive.
 
The incident took place before 12:20 a.m. near Mini Drive.
 
Officers were on routine patrol when they saw a vehicle traveling at a high rate. The vehicle continued driving westbound on Lewis Brown Drive and struck a traffic pole at the intersection near Sonoma Boulevard.
 
Immediately, authorities arrived at the scene and found the vehicle with four people inside.
 
The rescuers rushed those inside the vehicle to nearby hospitals because of their injuries. However, one of them died as a result of injuries.
 
Police withheld the deceased’s identity pending family notification by the Solano County Coroner’s Office.
 
Further, Cetinaperez, the vehicle driver showed what police described as “objective signs of intoxication”. They arrested him at the scene.
 
Once Cetinaperez was medically cleared, the authorities took Cetinaperez to the Solano County jail on suspicion of felony driving under the influence. Also, for driving while under the influence resulting in bodily injury to another person. He was also driving while unlicensed.
