2 People Hurt in League City Auto Accident on FM-518 West Main Street
LEAGUE CITY, TX (April 25, 2024) – Tuesday night, authorities arrested Anthony Cavazos after a police chase crash on FM-518 West Main Street.
The incident started at around 7:30 p.m. when authorities attempted to pull over a northbound car with an expired registration.
According to reports, the suspect vehicle sped off but soon collided with another vehicle at the FM-518 West Main Street intersection.
Responding paramedics transported the driver of the suspect vehicle, 19-year-old Cavazos, and two occupants of the second vehicle, a mother and her 11-year-old son, to a local hospital for treatment.
Officers confirmed that Cavazos will be charged with evading arrest and aggravated assault, with a bond set at $150,000.
At this time, the events leading to the crash remained unclear. When additional information becomes available, the public will be notified.
Due to limited information, the League City Police continued to investigate the crash.
