Five People Hospitalized in Multi-Car Crash Near Mariposa Road

 
HESPERIA, CA (August 31, 2019) – A multi-car crash snarled the traffic on Bear Valley Road eastbound on Saturday morning.
 
According to the California Highway Patrol, the accident happened near Mariposa Road at approximately 8:07 AM. Based on an initial report, four vehicles were involved in the incident. It is not yet clear what caused the pile-up crash.
 
Three ground ambulances arrived for needed medical assistance. After that, paramedics transported five people to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
 
Traffic affected and motorists heading eastbound advised of using an alternate while authorities cleaned up the area. An investigation is on-going.
