Major Injuries Sustained in Evening Motorcycle Crash in Byron
BYRON, CA (June 22, 2019) – A motorcyclist was airlifted Saturday evening following a traffic crash at Byron Highway and Bruns Road.
The collision happened just before 10:00 p.m., at the intersection of Byron Highway at Bruns Road. According to reports, the accident involved two motorcycles. However, the events leading up are currently unclear.
Units of the East Contra Costa Fire Protection District found one rider down on the roadway with major injuries. Paramedics airlifted that patient to John Muir Medical Center in an unknown condition.
The other rider declined treatment, the fire district said.
The crash still currently remains under investigation.
