Michael Ramos Involved in Avenue 216 Fatal Pedestrian Accident [Tulare, CA]

Tulare, CA (August 18, 2021) – On Monday, 41-year-old Michael Ramos of Corcoran, was involved in a fatal pedestrian accident on Avenue 216.

The fatal accident happened at about  9:45 p.m. east of Road 68.

Authorities said the male pedestrian, wearing dark clothing, was walking northbound across the roadway, east of Road 68. 

Subsequently, an eastbound 2021 Ford F-250 driven by Ramos was approaching the pedestrian. Ramos was unable to avoid hitting the pedestrian even after he drifted to the right at the last second.

Right away, rescuers rushed the pedestrian to Tulare District Hospital by ambulance with major injuries. 

Unfortunately, the victim later succumbed to his injuries. Officers withheld his identity pending notification of next of kin.
