McDowell Road Hit-and-Run Accident Kills Woman [Phoenix, AZ]

Phoenix, AZ (February 6, 2023) On Saturday evening, a hit-and-run accident on McDowell Road claimed the life of a woman.

Authorities say that the fatal 3-vehicle collision happened before 12 a.m. near the intersection with 7th Street.

Reports say that a northbound gold-colored vehicle ran a red light then collided with an eastbound white vehicle.

Officials say that the occupants of the gold-colored vehicle suffered injuries, paramedics transported both patients to the hospital. However, the woman succumbed to her injuries and died at the hospital.

Authorities say that the man is expected to survive.

Meanwhile, the driver of white vehicle fled the scene. Additionally, a 3rd vehicle was involved in the initial crash. The driver was safe and did not suffer serious injuries due to the crash.
