Phoenix, AZ (December 03, 2021) – On Wednesday, a man sustained fatal injuries in a Van Buren Street pedestrian accident

Officers responded to the crash scene at about 7:30 p.m. near the intersection with 28th Avenue.

Apparently, the victim was attempted to cross the mid-block and ran in front of an eastbound pickup truck.

Unfortunately, he sustained severe injuries and lost his life at the accident scene.

Meanwhile, the male pickup driver remained at the scene and did not sustain injuries from the crash.
