PORTERVILLE, CA (April 30, 2024) – Sunday night, an alarming hit-and-run crash on 1000 West Westfield Avenue injured one person.

The incident happened at around 9:00 p.m. at 1000 West Westfield Avenue.

According to reports, a westbound silver Honda traveling struck a pedestrian who was walking eastbound on Westfield Avenue in the westbound travel lane of the roadway. Then, the Honda fled the scene without stopping to provide aid.

Moreover, responders rushed the victim to a hospital with major injuries.

At this time, the events leading to the crash remained unclear. When additional information becomes available, the public will be notified.
