Man Dies in Auto Accident on Pennsylvania Avenue [Colton, CA]

1 Dead in Colton Car Crash on Pennsylvania Avenue

 
COLTON, CA (July 13, 2020) – Saturday afternoon, a man died in an auto accident on Pennsylvania Avenue in Colton.
 
According to reports, at around 3:27 p.m. on July 11th, a man driving an off-road vehicle on paved surface streets crashed with a parked vehicle. The incident occurred in the 2100 block pf Pennsylvania Avenue.
 
When the responding officers arrived at the scene, they found the man lying in the road.
 
“The vehicle he was riding wasn’t equipped with any safety restraints,” Colton Police Lt. Ray Mendez revealed.
 
Afterward, responders transported the man to a hospital. Unfortunately, he succumbed to his injuries at the hospital. Meanwhile, the police haven’t disclosed his identity due to pending family notification.
 
The authorities are investigating the cause of the crash.
