Police Investigate an Auto-Pedestrian Crash on South Main Street in Yreka

Yreka, CA (July 16, 2021) – Friday morning, an elderly man sustained injuries after a crash on South Main Street.

The crash in Yreka happened at about 8:30 a.m. on July 16, near the intersection of Raymond Street, near Nature’s Kitchen.

Yreka Police said the man was apparently in a crosswalk on South Main Street when a vehicle struck him.

The female driver stopped and assisted the pedestrian.

EMS took the man to Fairchild Medical Center with unknown injuries.

Further investigation into this crash on South Main Street is ongoing.
