Placerville, CA (December 3, 2021) – Wednesday night, a male pedestrian sustained injuries in a crash on Highway 50.
 
The crash in Placerville happened at about 10:40 p.m. on December 1, east of Ponderosa Road.
 
CHP said the man was walking in the highway’s westbound lanes when hit by a 2015 Mercedes driven by a 66-year-old Folsom man.
 
EMS took the pedestrian to U.C. Davis Medical Center for treatment.
