1 Person in Custody in Pasadena Auto Accident on Arroyo Parkway and Fillmore Street

PASADENA, CA (May 3, 2023) – Sunday night, authorities arrested Luis Flores-Pineda after an alarming hit-and-run crash on Arroyo Parkway.

The incident happened at around 7:45 p.m. on Arroyo Parkway and Fillmore Street.

According to reports, two vehicles collided in the area for still unknown reasons. Then, two occupants of one of the vehicles fled the scene on foot after the collision. Also, authorities confirmed that the vehicle was reported stolen earlier.

Moreover, officers managed to locate and arrest one of the suspects, 18-year-old Flores-Pineda. Then, responders transported one victim of the crash to a local hospital with minor injuries.

Furthermore, officials ask anyone with information about the crash to call the Pasadena Police Department at (626) 744-4241.

At this time, the circumstances that led to the crash remained unclear. Once additional details become available, the public will be notified.

Due to the limited information available, the authorities continued to investigate the crash.
