60-Year-Old Driver Arrested in Suspected DWI Crash on Nacogdoches Road [San Antonio, TX]

San Antonio, TX (April 29, 2024) On Saturday morning, SAPD arrested a 60-year-old man after a suspected DWI crash on Nacogdoches Road.

According to the SAPD, the T-Bone collision happened around 1:30 a.m. in the 12300 block of Nacogdoches Road.

Officials say that the suspect driver pulled out of a private driveway and crashed into the passenger side of a marked San Antonio police unit on the Northeast Side.

Authorities did not provide further details on the officer’s condition.

Meanwhile, officials determined that the suspect was driving under the influence and in possession of a firearm. Police arrested the 60-year-old man for DWI and unlawfully carrying a weapon.

Police are investigating the traffic collision and have not released additional information at this time.
