Tragic Solo-Car Crash on CR 404 Kills Teen [Paducah, TX]

Paducah, TX (April 29, 2024) On Saturday, a 13-year-old died and several other teens were hurt in a disastrous solo-car crash on CR 404.

According to the Texas Department of Public Safety (DPS), the fatal crash happened on eastbound County Road 404.

Reports say that the driver of a vehicle veered off the roadway and went off an embankment along a fence line.

Officials say that the vehicle rolled over and crashed into the fence and a power pole, and the vehicle ended up on its roof.

Authorities say that the driver and 2 passengers were taken to Childress Regional Medical Center, while one of the passengers was pronounced dead at the scene.

DPS is investigating the fatal crash and has not released additional information at this time.
