Justin Silva Dead, Miguel Rubalcava Detained in DUI Multi-Car Crash on 10 Freeway Near Dudley Street

 
POMONA, CA (June 25, 2019) – A driver died in Sunday’s multi-vehicle DUI crash on the 10 Freeway near Dudley Street.
 
According to California Highway Patrol officers, the incident happened around 4:25 a.m. In addition, the accident was located on the 10 Freeway.
 
Officials say Justin Julien Silva’s 2002 Honda Civic became disabled in the eastbound fast lane. Similarly, Miguel Angel Rubalcava was driving in all lanes of traffic at an unknown speed. After that, Rubalcava crashed his 2007 Mazda CX-9 into the Honda.
 
As a result, the Mazda ricocheted and struck a 2002 Cadillac Escalade SUV.
 
Unfortunately, 30-year-old Silva, of Hacienda Heights, died shortly after. However, the Escalade driver suffered no injuries while Rubalcava, 31, sustained minor injuries.
 
According to authorities, Rubalcava displayed signs of impairment. As a result, police arrested him. According to Los Angeles County booking records, he faces $1 million bail pending his initial court appearance. However, it is not know when the court appearance will be.
 
Police did not release any other information at this time. However, the authorities are investigating the accident further.
