James Ford Killed, Joyce Ford Arrested in Car Crash on Indiana Avenue and Perry Street

 
Spokane, WA (August 6, 2020) – On Tuesday, James Ford died in a DUI crash on Indiana Avenue and Perry Street.
 
The fatal incident happened at about 8 p.m. when the 63-year-old Joyce Ford collided into a car.
 
Authorities rushed Ford’s son, James Ford, to the hospital where he later died. Official court documents describe his cause of death as “devastating brain injury.” Also, a dog riding the same car was killed in the crash.
 
Ford told the authorities that she had used prescription drugs and smoked meth two days prior to the incident.
 
Police arrested her for failing several sobriety tests. They also knew that she was driving with her licensed suspended third degree.
 
They booked Ford in Spokane County Jail for vehicular homicide and driving with a suspended license.
