IRWINDALE, CA – 1 Dead in 605 Freeway Multi-Car Collision Near Los Angeles Street

Fatal Crash Involving Overturned FedEx Truck in Irwindale

 
IRWINDALE, CA (February 13, 2019) – A multi-car crash involving an overturned big rig on the 605 Freeway near Los Angeles Street turned deadly Tuesday night.
 
The incident happened before 9 p.m. A big rig and several other vehicles crashed on the 605 Freeway, according to California Highway Patrol Officer Stephan Brandt.
 
The vehicle on its side was reported as a FedEx truck, which had overturned on the off-ramp. One victim was declared dead at the scene after being trapped beneath the truck.
 
The identity of the victim will be released once the next of kin has been notified. An investigation of this crash is underway.
