1 Dead in San Antonio Auto Accident near East Nakoma Drive and East Coker Loop

SAN ANTONIO, TX (July 9, 2023) – Thursday night, a horrific high-speed crash near East Nakoma Drive and East Coker Loop killed 1 person.

The San Antonio Police Department revealed that the crash occurred at about 7:20 p.m. Moreover, it occurred near East Nakoma Drive and East Coker Loop.

According to reports, a black Ford truck headed eastbound on Nakoma at a high rate of speed. Then, the driver lost control and the truck went into the opposite lane. Eventually, it hit a silver car and the 50-year-old woman driver instantly succumbed to injuries.

Meanwhile, three truck occupants were taken to University Hospital. Meanwhile, the driver stayed behind with the police. Officers confirmed that their injuries were non-life-threatening.

Moreover, the police haven’t determined whether intoxication played a role in the crash.
