2 People Arrested in 2-Vehicle Collision on 8th Street
San Francisco, CA (May 15, 2024) On Tuesday morning, people were hurt after a brutal traffic crash on Cabrillo Street.
According to San Francisco police, the 2-vehicle collision happened after 10:30 a.m. near 8th Street and Cabrillo Street.
Reports say that the crash happened after 2 robbery suspects, pursued by police, crashed into a vehicle and a building.
Officials say that 2 people robbed a woman near Balboa Street and 26th Street, then fled the scene, that is when police saw their vehicle and officers initiated a chase.
Authorities did not pursue the suspects vehicle any further for public safety reasons, however, reports of the suspects’ vehicle crashing into an occupied vehicle came in a short time later. Police say that the suspects attempted to escape and fled on foot, but police were able to locate both suspects and detain them.
Medics treated the victims at the scene.
