Houston Police Investigates Fatal Hit-and-Run Crash on Katy Freeway
Houston, TX (May 15, 2024) On Tuesday evening, a 2-vehicle collision on Interstate 10 claimed the life of a male motorcyclist.
According to the Houston Police Department, the fatal hit-and-run crash happened around 8:30 p.m. on the Katy Freeway westbound lanes at Heights Boulevard.
Reports say that the collision involved a truck and a motorcycle. Officials say that the motorcycle rider crashed into the back of the truck, and the truck failed to stop and continued driving away.
Additionally, officials say that another vehicle ran the motorcyclist over. Police say that the driver of the 2nd vehicle stayed at the scene and cooperated with officials.
Police are investigating the fatal crash.
