Bus Driver Hurt in Suspected DUI Crash on A Street

Galt, CA (May 15, 2024) On Tuesday afternoon, a school bus driver was hurt and hospitalized after the Oak Avenue School Bus Accident.

According to the California Highway Patrol, the suspected DUI crash happened around 5:30 p.m. at the intersection of A Street and Oak Avenue.

Reports say that the school bus had 20 students on board, fortunately, none of the students were hurt in the crash.

Authorities say that the crash involved a pickup truck with a Wilbur-Ellis logo on the side. Officials say that a driver was arrested on suspicion of DUI.

CHP is investigating the 2-vehicle crash and has not released additional information at this time.
