Odessa, TX (April 25, 2024) On Tuesday evening, a horrific head-on crash on Oakwood Drive left a person trapped inside a vehicle.

According to the City of Odessa, the 2-vehicle collision happened around 6:30 p.m. at Oakwood Drive and Driver Avenue.

Reports say that the collision involved 2 vehicles, a red truck and a silver car, officials say that the driver of a silver car was trapped inside their vehicle.

Odessa Fire Rescue crews extricated the person out of the vehicle. Medics transported the patient to the hospital after the extrication.
