WHISKEYTOWN, CA (January 29, 2020) – A man was arrested following a fatal DUI crash Wednesday evening in Whiskeytown, according to the CHP.

The crash happened around 8:14 p.m. on Highway 299, just east of Grizzly Gulch Road.

CHP officials said a 1999 Toyota pickup truck was traveling westbound, while a 1992 Chevrolet S-10 was heading westbound. For unknown reasons, the Toyota drifted into the oncoming lane, causing a head-on collision.
