Olympia, WA (December 3, 2020) – On Wednesday, Garrett Miller, an 18-year-old Tenino man died in a pedestrian accident on Littlerock Road.
 
The fatal crash took place around noon between 113th Avenue and 93rd Avenue.
 
Apparently, a vehicle struck and killed Miller, an employee of a private company who was cleaning up an oil spill in a coned-off area.
 
Deputies arrived within minutes. However, Miller already died at the scene.
 
The involved driver, a 74-year-old man, stayed on the scene.
 
Furthermore, authorities said the driver was not impaired at the time of the crash and the incident was an accident.
 
Thurston Public Works closed the road for about 4 hours as they investigated the scene.
