GIG HARBOR, WA (August 16, 2020) – Friday night, Gale Zimmerman died in a hit-and-run accident on Highway 16 in Gig Harbor.
 
According to police reports, the incident occurred at around 8:45 p.m. on Highway 16 near Burnham Drive.
 
Upon the troopers’ arrival, they initially confirmed that driver Gale V. Zimmerman sustained serious injuries. Later on, they said that the driver succumbed to injuries.
 
At this time, the authorities described the suspected hit-and-run car as a newer red or maroon SUV with passenger-side damage. Moreover, they are still looking for the said vehicle.
