Frank Anagnos Dies in Bear Valley Road Pedestrian Accident [Victorville, CA]

Victorville, CA (August 26, 2021) – On Wednesday, 61-year-old Frank Anagnos of Apple Valley lost his life in a pedestrian accident on Bear Valley Road.

The fatal crash took place at about 6:38 a.m. at the intersection with Mojave Fish Hatchery Road near the new Aldi shopping center.

When the deputies and medical personnel arrived, they found Anagnos lying on the north shoulder of the roadway unresponsive. 

Rescuers performed life-saving measures, but he still died at the accident scene.

“According to a witness, Anagnos was seen in the center divider of Bear Valley Road before he attempted to cross north bound across lanes of traffic when he was struck by the involved vehicle,” an officer said.

Moreover, the involved driver, as well as the witness, remained at the accident scene and cooperated with the investigation.

The authorities are requesting anyone who may have witnessed the fatal incident to contact Deputy T. Wetzel at the Victorville Police Station at 760-241-2911.
