Multi-Vehicle Accident Turns Deadly in Piru

 
PIRU, CA (April 26, 2019) – A three-car accident along Highway 126 near Center Street Thursday afternoon left one person dead.
 
The 5 p.m. collision happened along Highway 126, also dubbed “Blood Alley” by the Los Angeles Times.
 
As a result of the fatal accident, traffic resulted in a standstill near Center Street.
 
According to reports, three cars collided including one black vehicle, which was thoroughly mangled and no longer recognizable as paramedic worked feverishly to treat five patients.
 
One person died in the crash and paramedics found an injured occupant pinned inside the wreckage.
 
Shortly after, a helicopter landed on the highway to airlift several critical patients. There was no other news detailed in the report, but a follow-up investigation is underway.
