Pedestrian Killed in Desert Hot Springs Crash

 
DESERT HOT SPRINGS, CA (April 26, 2019) – An elderly man died in a pedestrian accident Thursday evening at West Drive and Mission Lakes Boulevard.
 
According to Desert Hot Springs Police Department Chief Dale, the pedestrian was in a crosswalk when a vehicle missed a stop sign and struck him.
 
The elderly man died shortly after while the driver stayed at the scene and cooperated with police.
 
Reports did not specify how the collision happened or where the fault lies but an investigation regarding these are underway.
