Driver Dies in Semi-truck Crash on West Louise in Manteca

 
Manteca, CA (July 1, 2020)– A driver has died in a semi-truck crash on Airport Way and West Louise Avenue on Wednesday morning.
 
The crash happened after 12:30 a.m on July 1. Manteca police reports say the driver struck two semi-trucks at the scene. The car ended up wedged underneath the trailer of one of the big rigs, then eventually struck a parked and unoccupied semi-truck.
 
Consequently, the driver died on the spot. Police believe speed was a factor in the crash. His identity remains undisclosed.
 
Moreover, Police closed the surrounding area during cleanup and preliminary duties. However, it has since reopened by 7 a.m.
