Police Arrest Adelanto Woman Dina Mora Martinez on Valley Boulevard Fatal DUI Crash

 
Fontana, CA (March 08, 2021) – On Sunday, police arrested 34-year-old Dina Mora Martinez of Adelanto in a fatal DUI crash on Valley Boulevard.
 
The fatal accident took place minutes before 1:50 a.m. near Cypress Avenue.
 
Martinez was driving the wrong way down Valley Boulevard in her Chevrolet Colorado.
 
At the same time, a Toyota Corolla was driven westbound on Valley Boulevard.
 
As a result, the two vehicles crashed head-on. Unfortunately, an unrestrained passenger from one of the vehicles was thrown onto the roadway.
 
Rescuers took the 24-year-old passenger, a Cathedral City woman, to a hospital where she later died.
 
Moreover, the Toyota’s driver and two other people inside it sustained minor to moderate injuries.
 
Right away, responders took Martinez to a hospital with minor injuries.
 
Authorities arrested her on suspicion of vehicular manslaughter and driving under the influence of alcohol.
 
In the meantime, officers withheld the deceased’s identity pending notification of next of kin.
 
Meanwhile, officers continue to investigate the incident.
