Car Accident on Angeles Crest Highway Leaves Cristian Luna Dead and Injures Passenger

 
Tujunga, CA (November 9, 2020) – On Monday, Cristian Luna, 28, died, while his passenger, a 28-year-old Rosemead woman, was injured in a crash on Angeles Crest Highway.
 
The fatal accident was reported at about 7 p.m. at mile marker 33.40., according to California Highway Patrol Officer C. Villanueva.
 
A white Infiniti vehicle was westbound on the highway when the Mr. Luna lost control and went over the cliff.
 
Reports from the scene determined the vehicle may have fallen 400 feet.
 
Authorities pronounced Cristian Jesus Montiel Luna dead at the scene.
 
Meanwhile, the rescuers took the passenger to Huntington Memorial Hospital in Pasadena. She sustained major injuries.
 
Further, police have not yet identified if alcohol or drugs were a factor in the crash.
